Part of my ongoing White Rabbit series, White Rabbit #11 is a hand-burned pyrography growth chart designed to mark the passage of time in a child’s life.

The illustrated rabbit girl stands confidently with arms crossed and goggles perched above her eyes, as if she’s ready for whatever adventure comes next. A single rabbit ear rises above her head, reinforcing the sense of curiosity and imagination that runs throughout the series.

Each mark is burned directly into the wood, turning a practical object into a piece of art that grows alongside the child it belongs to.

This piece combines storytelling and function — a record of childhood height that becomes more meaningful with every year.
